raw intuitive flow energy
Flow state is the highly pleasurable sync between body and mind, being completely absorbed in effortless momentum. I find that idealist bliss by intuitively applying paint to substrate. That intense raw emotional experience is as vital to me as breathing.
It all began with photography and continues today. My art mediums have evolved from watercolour beginnings through to oil, printmaking, wax and acrylics. I thrive in the natural world and my source is water. In my work, that flow is evident by capturing the moment, an emotional release, and the freedom of chance effects. The shores of Lake Huron provide my pulse, my rhythm, and the heart of my paintings. Welcome to my flow.
